I miss my tuition buddies.
Zariff, whom I enjoi being together with and always helped me teaching In. In, my favourite-but-canbeveryirritatingsometimes student. Puteri, my gossip partner. Miza, the drama queen (in a good way, of course). Datuk Najib, our Wakil Rakyat. Ayong, the super-skinny jokes cracker. Raf, the girl with many math theories yang pelik-pelik. Wawa, In's completelydifferent twin sister. Azwan, whom always teamed up with Zariff to teach me Science and Maths, and the rest.
Thank you guys, for the happiness you've created. Together, we berhalusinasi:)

flower
I call her the sunshine whereas I'm the moonbeam. We've known each other for 6 years now. It's amazing how time flies. We were just innocent, happy kids back then. Every moment we spent was just full of laughs. And now here we are, preparing for the real world.
Whenever I bump into something exciting or incredibly funny, I'd always think of her first. How joyful it'd be if she's around, too. I also find solace in her all the time. When everything went wrong and nothing is right, I'd turn to her for some words of advice. Somehow she knows how to make me feel safe.
She is a wonderful friend. She's the one who'll be there for you, squeezing your hands and willing to lend her shoulder for you to cry on while whispering to you that everything's gonna be alright, and if there is, she's gonna protect you from it. She's also the one who'll try so hard to cheer you up, although her own world is crashing down. She makes me feel important.
She is my sunshine. Someone who makes me feel very happy every time we're together. Although she's miles away now, she still has that magic touch. I'm glad I made the decision to ask her whether I could join her for recess 6 years ago, and I'm glad she let me.
Dayang Maani Zuriah is my best friend ever.

pergi
A conversation I had with Naqib last week:
Naqib: (sitting down on my mini chair, getting up, sitting down again, jumping childishly and giggling)
Me: Ey Naqib, jangan lompat-lompat. Duduk elok-elok.
Naqib: (sitting down before began getting up again)
Me: Naqib tak nak duduk biar kakak je la duduk. (grinning and sitting down)
Naqib: (running towards me) Ey, tu krusi aku! Kau duduk la tempat lain!
Me: Mane ade. Ni krusi kakak la.
Naqib: Duduk tempat lain la! (trying to push me) Abang, tengok die ni.
Naufal: (glancing, and continue eating with his parents)

more than anyone
tak usah kau terangkan ku tahu
potret wajahmu di setiap penjuru
curahkan deritamu padaku
biarku rasa apa yang kau lalu
terang terang
bersama rasa sayang
ku biarkan kau terbang
terang terang
sudut kecil ku isi
untuk senyuman mu lagi
berbaring kita renung ke bulan
lagu yang ku tulis ku nyanyikan
lagu cinta tentang kita berdua
yang kan kita kenangi hingga tiba masa
terang terang
bersama rasa sayang
ku biarkan kau terbang
terang terang
sudut kecil ku isi
untuk senyuman mu lagi
mimpi mimpi
yang tak kembali
aku janji
janji takkan pergi
tak usah kau terangkan ku tahu
potret wajahmu di setiap penjuru
curahkan deritamu padaku
biarku rasa apa yang kau lalu
terang terang
bersama rasa sayang
ku biarkan kau terbang

This is the most beautiful Malay song I've ever heard. And it is unbelievably from Hujan. Each time I listen to this song, I can't help thinking of my best friends. Although it is about two lovers, it reminds me of how lucky I am to have 7 wonderful best friends.
7 best friends. That's many. But I'm glad I have them all.

love makes world go round
I've been taught we should balik kampung for Raya since forever. But I've never known why. Yesterday, I've learned the answer.
Last year was the most awkward Raya ever for my family. Abang wasn't with us. And it felt so empty without him. An incompelete feeling, that was it. It was dull, and so terribly horrible. I cried myself to sleep for nights. I couldn't imagine spending another Raya without him or anyone else.
This year, we are complete. Everyone's here. The six of us. I look at them and I smile. This is how I want to spend it every year. Together.
So what I've learned yesterday was, balik kampung isn't just to celebrate Raya. We can celebrate it anywhere. Even in the space. It doesn't matter where or how we celebrate it; it's just who we spend it with. I've learned that people balik kampung for Raya to celebrate it with their families - the people they cherish and love most.
I love my family. Despite their cons and sometime-weirdness, they are my family, and I love them.
